DISCUSIONS IN THE MINISTRY ON ROAD NETWORK RECONSTRUCTION AND PALILULA MUNICIPAL PROJECTS

Reconstruction of the road network and help in the realization of important urban infrastructure projects were the topics of the meeting with the leaders of the Nis City Municipality of Palilula and Municipality of Žagubica the Ministry of construction, transport and infrastructure.Representatives of the Ministry were at the receipt of these two municipalities introduced with major infrastructure projects and the situation in these municipalities.

President of Palilula Municipality, Boban Džunić and his associates introduced the State Secretaries and Deputies Minister in the Ministry with the condition and needs of maintenance of urban infrastructure through the project "enhanced maintenance of public roads, reconstruction of the central pedestrian paths memorial complex of Old Cemetery" and the introduction of video surveillance system on the reconstructed Memorial Park "Bubanj" in order to justify the sustainability of the project "Reconstruction of the Memorial park Bubanj" financed by IPA Programme of the European Commission resources.

The aim of these meetings, established by the Government Vice president PhD Zorana Mihajlovic who is also holding them together with associates every Thursday in the Government of Serbia, is to improve coordination between the Government and local governments, more efficient realization of projects of local, regional and national importance and faster problems solving of citizens in local communities.
